MISSION TO THE WORLD JAPAN
Thank you for visiting!
We are excited to see how God is working in Japan. As of 2020, approximately 80 missionaries work across the nation with Mission to the World, and this number grows every year. While we focus on church growth by planting new churches and assisting Japanese nationals through evangelism and discipleship, we recognize that many ministries are crucial to assist in church planting movements. We are engaged in faith & work ministries, faith & art ministries, seminary training, Christian grade school education, publishing, training, and much more.

God bless you!
Mission to the World was formed in 1973, with the birth of the Presbyterian Church of America, to promote Reformed and covenantal church planting movements around the world. Mission to the World Japan formally began in 1981, when a number of missionaries already working in Japan joined the mission agency. Since then, the number of missionaries has exploded to become the second largest mission agency represented in Japan. We do not see this growth stopping anytime soon, as many new teams start and new churches are planted.
